ABOUT US

The Historic Thompson Park was originally founded in the early 1900s. Thompson Park is a Historic Olmsted Creation, located in the heart of Watertown.


Along with the beautiful scenery and viewpoints, the park also features:


  • Zoo New York operated by the Thompson Park Conservatory
  • The Watertown Golf Club
  • Honor the Mountain Monument
  • Municipal pool and splash pad
  • Children’s creative playground
  • Exercise trails and county drives
  • Stone pavilion and stairways

Hours: 7:00am – 9:00pm Year Round

Pups in the Park

It is a city ordinance that dogs are to be kept on a leash when off private property. Please utilize the dog pots throughout the park to dispose of feces. You can refer to the City of Watertown's code book for more information. Thank you!
